Vimeo's Music Store is a great way to support fellow artists - musicians, composers and song writers. Vimeo has started a music store to license music for your media work. It breaks down into basically two categories: Personal Use ($1.99) and Commercial Use ($98.00). This service will allow you to audition multiple selects and choose the right one for your project. When I produced the film, Midnight Movie, I used TAXI (a similar music service) except you had to individually negotiate with each band the deal terms and costs to license the music. I still recommend Taxi, but Vimeo's Music Store is the next logical step in the digital revolution of filmmaking.
